I haven’t listened to this episode, but yeah some of his stories are so crazy/ridiculous that it becomes hard to believe them. But also the thing is, he is like 35, has $100+mil and doesn’t give a fuck, so it makes sense that crazy shit happens to him.

Critter, sometimes. Saber, frequently. Dave? No. He could tell me a story about my own life and I’d believe his storytelling the same way that I’ve believed everything else he has said with any seriousness. ..Except what he says about Yoshi. Dave is always kidding around about Yoshi having AIDS or being psychotic.

Often the most bizarre stories are true. I know I have a bunch of crazy life stories that seem to defy reality. Life is way too often crazier and more interesting than fiction. Except for Sci-Fi of course. Just talk to any cop friend (if you have any) and they will tell you some shit that will turn you white.

No disagreement from me, the truth is stranger and assuredly more interesting. Though life CAN imitate art, art imitates life.

It’s tough to stay with a story that is not only pretty extreme, but frames the storyteller as a really cool guy, and on top of that is only part of a chain of otherwise unrelated cool-guy stories. I believe they’ve had incredible amazing lives but when it’s presented as a one-up, it loses all credibility.

I have listed to cop friend stories, and was turned pretty white at hearing about being a first responder to a drunk driving accident. The victim’s vehicle had rolled, and the victim’s infant child was ejected and lodged, mangled, in a tree right next to the wreckage. :(

I don’t believe you have to be famous to have crazy stories. Thanks to the Veruca James episode, I recently found out my girlfriend of over ten years fucked a burgeoning pornstar before we met (female).

Just to clarify, I do LIKE Critter and Saber, but I don’t know why they oversell themselves so vehemently, even when Dave is blowing smoke directly into their asses.

    DVDASA is the best podcast.

That said, as a long time listener of Greg Fitzsimmons’ podcast, I would love to see how him and the DVDASA gang would get along. He did stand up at the AVN awards! He’s interviewed Belladonna! Third thing in a list! Incredibly entertaining, open minded, thoughtful, violent, guy.

I don’t expect “guests” every episode and neither should you. I’m also aware that Dave and Asa know some awesome people I don’t that would make great guests. Dave has said that he doesn’t listen to any other podcasts (except a binge listen to Fatman on Batman), and as a podcast listener (hopefully like you dear reader) I’m looking out for other podcasts that I might also like. If you’re reading this and listen to a lot of podcasts, do me a solid and list your top five podcasts in no particular order. :)

David is a brave guy for sharing all these crazy stories. Most people wouldn’t dare talk about the stuff he does. However I have noticed that in my opinion if Dave feels a little insecure he immediately points out something wrong in one of the co-hosts and makes them talk about it. Don’t get me wrong it makes for an entertaining discussion but there is no need for worries, we are all your fans here. As Phil from Pantera would say, “All we care about is our own.” Yes people are going to judge and sometimes harshly but fuck them. Normal is just a perspective.

    Hi,

Thank you all so much for doing this show, I love it!!! Tell Dave those ‘puss filled zits on the back of his arms’ could very well likely be molloscum contagiosum papules. As Lilit has stated, he should get them checked out by a dermatologist. Also, in the intro, does Bobby say his name is “Bobby D” or “Bobbity” as a joke or is that how he pronounces his name?

    Hi Dave,

So refreshing to hear your honesty about everything. I truly believe most of your stories and insights about life and love to hear them. Have listened to all the episodes KGB and DVDASA. The only thing I think you should elaborate on more in the show is the girls your claim you fuck. You exaggering a bit here? Or can you clarify. Some of the biggest and best looking players I have ever met would have nowhere near the amount of girls you claim you have. It’s just reality. I know you’re a celebrity (Z list), but i still don’t think that would bring in the girls you claim. No hate but fat asian guy banging hundreds of supermodels? Unless you’re paying? In one of the episodes at the doctor you claim hundreds of girls in a year. Not a chance..

    • Brittany Morgan in Haunted Nights from Saint Paul, MN, United States

You have much to learn. Think more along the lines of fantasy, excitement, spontaneity/unpredictability, having a man that is socially relevant among the culture, and finding a man that can support and entertain all of those things while being not having to succumb to the forty hour work week. A lot of girls and women find strength in that or are attracted to it because they cannot attain it themselves but want it very deeply. As Jackie Treehorn said, “The mind is the most erogenous zone.” The sooner you realize that and use it to your advantage, the better you will be with women. You don’t even have to be rich.
